Rapture XXIII: Pinta ng Pakikibaka
Art is not merely a reproduction of reality, but a realization of what cannot be seen.
The atrocities of the modern world are not blatantly obvious displays of abuse and destruction. They are hidden in the underbellies of society and guised as necessities of development. Now, the struggles and plights of society have never been so blurred with widespread misinformation.
Join the UP Fisheries Guild as we help bring our advocacies to light through street painting with Rapture XXIII: Pinta ng Pakikibaka this MARCH 15, 2023! The theme for this year is “SalungGUHIT: Underlining Societal Plights, Painting Inspirations for Change” from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the CFOS to CUB Pathwalk. Show your cause by street painting with us tomorrow!

MathO Member Spotlight
"It's never too late to be a star. Do what makes you shine the brightest."
We introduce to you Michale Angelo "Milo" Conui, a 23-year old B.S. in Applied Mathematics All-Star from Isla del Fuego, Siquijor— a small but mysterious island that is also known to be as the "Island of Fire." He is MathO's Auditor and UPV Elektrons' Executive Council's Finance Committee Member.
He is fond of manual solving and he shows interest towards anime, melancholic music, K-pop, YouTube compilations, and most especially, cats. He also admires the picturesque beauty of the campus, especially the sunset. He makes sure to find time to walk around Chancellor's Park while listening to his so-called "emotional music."
A driven and compassionate individual, even though he brands himself as "lutang" most of the time (it's okay, we get you). He will always be one of the upperclassmen that the younger BSAM babies will always look up to and will serve as their inspiration as he undeniably presents his unwavering commitment at what he does. A person with strong sense of purpose and determination.
Thank you guys for reading today’s release. See you on Monday!
